HOW TO GET TO PLUS ONE GALLERY
BY TUBE
Local underground stations Parsons Green and Fulham Broadway provide links to the extensive underground network. Clapham Junction station also provides a quick link to nearby Wandsworth Town railway station which is about a 12 minute walk across the Thames.
From Kings Cross – take the Piccadilly line westbound to Earl's Court then change onto the District Line train heading westbound to Wimbledon, get off this District line train at Parsons Green. From here it is a 13 minute walk through Parsons Green Green and all the way down Peterborough Road, or a 3 minute journey in a taxi.
From Oxford Circus – take the Cental line westbound to Notting Hill Gate, change onto the District line southbound to Wimbledon and get off at Parsons Green (5 stops). From here it is a 13 minute walk through Parsons Green Green and all the way down Peterborough Road, or a 3 minute journey in a taxi.
From Liverpool Street – take the Cental line westbound to Notting Hill Gate, change onto the District line southbound to Wimbledon and get off at Parsons Green (5 stops). From here it is a 13 minute walk through Parsons Green Green and all the way down Peterborough Road, or a 3 minute journey in a taxi. This should take approcimately 45 minutes in total.
BY BUS
The gallery is located close to a number of bus routes.
From Fulham Broadway – buses 28 or 295 from Fulham Townhall (stand S) to Townmead Road (stand TL), this should take approximately 6 minutes.
From Sloane Square – the 22 bus goes from Sloane Square Station (stand H) to Parsons Green (stand W), this will take around 20 minutes, 12 stops and will drop you at the edge of the Green, take the first left onto Peterborough Road and walk all the way to the end, The Piper Building will be on your left, this will take around 11 minutes to walk.
From South Kensington – the 14 or 414 goes from South Kensington Station (stand T) to Fulham Broadway (stand F) it takes around 18 minutes (10 stops) from here take the 28 or 295 bus from stand E, 7 stops to Townmead Road (stand TL). It is a 5 minute walk to The Piper Building from here, turn right onto Carnwath Road and take the third right onto Peterborough Road.
From Knightsbridge – the 14 or 414 goes from Knightsbridge Station/ Harrods (stand KC) to Fulham Broadway Station (stand M) it takes around 24 minutes (12 stops) from here take the 28 or 295 bus from stand E, 7 stops to Townmead Road (stand TL). It is a 5 minute walk to The Piper Building from here, turn right onto Carnwath Road and take the third right onto Peterborough Road.
BY TRAIN
Wandsworth Town railway station is just a 15 minute walk to the gallery. This station provides a quick link to Clapham Junction and on to Waterloo for the national rail network and other underground links.
From Wandsworth Town Station – turn left out of the station and under the bridge, walk towards the main road/ roundabout. Cross over the road towards the McDonald's fastfood restaurant, continue walking straight over the Wandsworth Bridge, once you are over the bridge (Currys, PC World is on your left handside) turn left onto Carnwath Road and then take the third right onto Peterborough Road. The Piper Building is situated immediately on your left handside.
BY CAR
For visitors wanting to come by car, there is paid on street parking directly outside the Piper Building, there is also a large Sainsburys just 5 minutes walk away which also has a large car park but be aware that you will have to purchase something from the supermarket to use their facilities.
